Summer Knitting

Here is my latest project, a dress for my friend's baby daughter, Alberte.

I got the pattern from Pickles, and here is their adorable version.

Sigur Ros

Do you know Sigur Rós?

They are an Icelandic band. They play very strange, but beautiful music.
I know music taste varies, but whether you like their music or not, I'd like to introduce you to them because they make great music videos.
The last time I flew Iceland Air, I watched a documentary about the band, and it made those uncomfortable hours cramped on the plane a lot more enjoyable.
Among other things, the documentary showed a lot of Iceland's beautiful nature.

Despite having visited Reykjavik airport a couple of times, I have never actually been to Iceland, but it is high on my list of places to go.

My favorite Sigur Rós music video is Hoppipolla, which means jumping in puddles. This video is very positive and life-affirming:)

Aside from Hoppipolla, the documentary, called Heima, must be my favorite Sigur Rós video.

Here's what I've been doing today.

It's not really the season for Saint Lucia, but I had to finish up these little figures for a friend who ordered them ages ago.

Now it's time for some more knitting I think:)
